Mark is one of Johnsons most experienced horticulturists who has developed the Garden Centre Sales division over a number of years. His experience gives him a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing plant retailers and the ways in which we as nurserymen can work together with them to mutual benefit.

Paul is our former propagation site manager who has been with the company for 28 years, and has worked in various production roles including managing our Roecliffe retail production site for 5 years.

Chris joins us with over 20 years experience in sales to garden centres and is already well known to many of our customers. The combination of Chris’s knowledge and experience of the sector and his enthusiasm will help both customers and Johnsons to increase sales opportunities over the coming years. Chris sees the move to Johnsons as the chance to make his mark in a business he has known and respected for years. “Johnsons has a fantastic reputation as a grower and is hugely respected in the industry,” he says. “I relish the chance to make a difference to their profile in the midlands and the south: there is so much opportunity out there.”

An honours graduate in horticulture, Rachel has been with us for 10 years having previously worked in the garden centre industry. Rachel is responsible for delivering administrative support to the Garden Centre Sales department.
